Peanut satay Tofu
If back in your meat eating days you loved a satay chicken then this dish is for you!
This is a peanut butter sticky satay sauce! It is so easy to make and is delicious!
To make this all you need:
Rice
Tofu (cubed)
2 x Garlic Cloves (chopped)
2 x tbsp of smooth peanut butter
2 x tbsp of golden syrup
Lime juice
Soy sauce
Chilli flakes
This dish is so simple to make!
Whilst you put your rice on to boil you will need to cut your tofu into cubes. (make sure you have pressed it first so that it is firmer)
Place your tofu in a frying pan with some olive oil and your garlic cloves. One the garlic starts to brown add your peanut butter and this will be sticky but that’s okay! Then you want to add your chilli flakes a few dashes of lime juice along with a few dashes of soy sauce! Fry this for a few more minutes until the sauce is extra sticky and stuck to the tofu! Voila, its then ready to serve alongside your rice, we sprinkled some peanuts on top of ours to add to the aesthetics of things but that’s optional!
Enjoy!
